How To Select A 28 Day Reporting Window In Meta Ads Manager

Quick Meta Ads tip: by default, Meta only reports on what happens within a 7 day window, but what can you do if your sales or lead cycle is longer than that?

Ads Manager actually has an option to report on a 28 day post-click window. It's buried away, but this quick video shows you where to find it 👇.

Should you consider a 28 day window?

Pro: for mid to high ticket items, it often takes longer than 7 days from the click to achieve the purchase. A 28 day window gives you more complete insights.

Con: you'll include more sales that have been influenced by other channels. Meta reports on sales made after the click, regardless of the user journey. So there's likely to be other (non-Meta) marketing touchpoints over the course of a month which makes attribution more hazy.
